If you like to cook - whether youre just learning your way around the kitchen or maybe youve been doing it for a long time - this app is an amazing tool. Ive visited their website before, and as far as cooking techniques go, its a truly outstanding resource.......and its free.

The recipes are well thought out and designed for anyone to be able to execute from start to finish. And the videos and photos that accompany them are absolutely AMAZING. I used to work in restaurants and consider myself an above average cook, and Im always impressed when I learn something new like I do when I visit their website.

As someone a bit older, I used to have a negative attitude when it came to using newer, somewhat "unorthodox," techniques, unusual ingredients and procedures (like putting food in a plastic bag and cooking it at a lower temperature, for example), but the way they instruct you at ChefSteps makes it seem very effortless, and the recipes always work.
