Dope

Awesome app, well designed, clean, and informative

Please add sous vide info

Can you please add the sous vide time temp guide to the quick link button along w egg timer?

Better

In a short sentence as posible, Chefsteps made me a better chef.

Sous Vide Obsessed

This app should be called Sous Vide Cooking. If you dont have a sous vide machine, youre going to get tired of getting excited about a recipie (even beef burger patty) and finding out that you need one to do most things in this app. They actually address how heavily they focus on sous vide, but their response is, "We hear you. Just try it." Very frustrating. Its a well done app; its just misleading and limiting to anyone without/not interested in sous vide.

Start Over

Im a loyal and devoted Chefstepper. The quality of the app is not even close to what it should be...Come on...your in Seattle.

Become a much better cook

Chefsteps has greatly improved my skill in the kitchen. From more advanced skills to delicious easy to make biscuits I recommend this to anyone who enjoys cooking. Also the egg calculator is awesome.

Cool app, great staff but measurements in Grams

Great knowledge base provided on cooking techniques. My only complaint is cant we go to measures in cups and tsp? Lol. I get it universal measurement but a calculator within the app would be the greatest enhancement around!

Clean app

I like this app, but its way too limited. I wish the classes I am enrolled in from chef steps were on here. I hope there are updates to come. Way too basic. I cant even favorite recipes

Grams???

Need a conversion from grams to cups or ounces. Its very hard to measure in grams when youre not used to it. Please update otherwise great app

Clean app, but the back button disappears

Minor bug fix, but the back button disappeared after navigating into a recipe.

Im obsessed with this app

Wow! All I can say is Im obsessed with this app. The techniques are challenging yet easy enough for the home chef. They encourage easy hacks to achieve the results. Tons of videos, pictures, and links to products. Kind of major buggy issues. Sometimes you cant click back to the main menu. Relight now Im stuck on easy pea soup and cant get back. I think I have to delete the app and reload. Not a big deal, just a pain and Im sure someone can fix that issue.

Awesome

Im very happy with the app!! Congrats guys!

Awesome APP

Grant and the gang, you guys are the best...excellent APP, easy to use and self explanatory!!! You guys rock.

No Landscape, No Rotation

If your iPad is charging this app is unusable unless you are comfortable smashing your lightning cable. Im seriously second guessing my Joule preorder when something like this gets overlooked. Ill stick to the website.

Informative, and Fascinating

This app is easy to navigate, has a helpful search function, and is overall nicely put together. The information and media youre able to access by using the app is astounding! It would be nice to be able to sign in and navigate Chefsteps Premium through the app.

Great resource

Clean and straight forward. Very helpful when you dig for what you want. Main criticisms are that I cant find any way to login and access the Premium content in the app. Also the menu bar should have organized categories for techniques or types of cooking. Thanks guys!

Cook like you mean it

This app rocks! The people over at chef steps have a ton of great content and the app keeps me from having to keep a chrome window open to the website all the time!

A must have for adventurous cooks

Clean, simple, and aesthetically beautiful

Everything about this app is spot on!

Lets just start by saying the folks who put this app together are brilliant on so many levels. 1. Simple and eloquent. (KISS) 2. A graphic tour de force. 3. Video instruction exquisitely shot, lively, funny, hip and most importantly, informative and thank god, brief. 4. Ingredients and instruction read like no other recipe ever printed. Very intuitive and methodically arranged and laid out. Ever effort has been made to alleviate stress. 5. The apps free, so yes theyve figured out a very clever way to merchandize stuff. But theyre not all up in your face with promoting products. Finally someone has showed a little respect for their audience. 6. And if to like to cook this will become your go to app. Just reading the intro to each recipe is joy to read.
